Volunteer & mentor

Your experience, turned into someone’s first chance

We match professionals to learners and entrepreneurs for a defined, time-bound commitment. Not an open-ended ask you will quietly regret.

Three ways to help

What we actually need

Mentor a person

Guide one learner or entrepreneur through a defined stretch: interview preparation, a business plan review, or ongoing career coaching.

Teach a skill

If you have expertise in a trade, digital skill or professional practice, deliver a session or short course to a cohort training for that outcome.

Support placement

Review resumes, run mock interviews, or open one hiring conversation at your own organisation.

What we ask

Reliability matters more than seniority.

The most valuable volunteer is not the most senior person in the room. It is the person who turns up when they said they would, month after month, for someone who has been let down before.

So we ask for a specific, bounded commitment rather than enthusiasm. An hour a month for six months is worth more to us than an open offer to help however we need.

  • A defined time commitment you can actually keep
  • Willingness to work with one person rather than an audience
  • Comfort giving honest feedback, kindly
  • No expectation of being called an inspiration

One person, one defined stretch of their path.

That is the whole ask.
